So far, the People’s Committee in Bac Giang city and three districts of Viet Yen, Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa have received proposals from 696 turns of businesses to support nearly 201,800 turns of labours.

All submitters were approved and received the housing rent support with total expenses of over 109 billion VND (over 4.6 million USD). Viet Yen district had the biggest number of submitted companies with more than 615 turns to support over 104.4 billion VND to more than 193,300 turns of employees.

According to the report of the Employment Department (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs), as of August 24, more than 5.18 million turns of labours proposed for housing rent support in line with Decision 08 with total amount of over 3.2 trillion VND, accounting for 50 percent of the initial estimation of 6.6 trillion VND.

Together with Bac Giang province, 17 localities have disbursed and paid for 100 percent of proposed labours. However, many provinces and cities have delayed disbursement such as Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, Binh Dinh, Hai Duong and Nam Dinh.

Bac Giang to pay housing rent support for labours before August 25

However, all sectors and levels have focused on various implementation solutions to ensure the progress of document reception before the deadline of August 15, 2022 to timely pay for labours.

More than 57,400 labours benefit from housing rent support
