Bac Giang continues strictly monitoring risk of Covid-19 infection
So far, the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic has been complicated worldwide with more than 9.1 million infected cases and 473,000 deaths. Vietnam has recorded 352 patients, 329 of whom recovered. The new cases are Vietnamese people who were expatriated from foreign countries and immediately isolated. Now, there is no case confirmed from community.

According to the PSC, many people have recently immigrated to Bac Giang province to buy the farm produce while the expatriated Vietnamese people returning to the province have risk of Covid-19 infection after the concentrated quarantine time.
As of June 24, 87 Chinese traders completed the isolation period and started buying lychee in Luc Ngan district.
Concluding the meeting, PPC Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong said Bac Giang now faces to several risks of Covid-19 infection amid the actual situation of socio-economic development and pandemic control, however they can be actively controlled.
Together with recovering and accelerating the socio-economic growth, the provincial leader urged the districts and city in the upcoming time to prioritize the task of isolation, close management in post isolation period to Chinese traders to buy local farm produce as well as the manager, technicians entering to work in the province.

Bac Giang has consumed half quantity of lychee, thus no more Chinese trader will be allowed to enter the province.
He ordered the localities to strictly control and monitor the health condition of the infected patients who fully recovered and returned to live in the province. The districts and city should take close control over the labourers who worked in China then returned via the small paths to timely put them in medical quarantine.
The Department of Health instructed the sector to build the backup programme, use the medical materials reasonably and be ready to various situations in the upcoming time so as to avoid the passiveness in case of pandemic outbreak.
Meanwhile, the localities were requested to accelerate the progress to review the remaining subjects affected by Covid-19 pandemic to conclude in late July 2020.
