Supported amount paid for people affected by Covid-19 pandemic in 3 more localities in Bac Giang

(BGO) – Three districts of Viet Yen, Yen The and Yen Dung in Bac Giang province on May 22 mobilized the budget’s reserve source to pay the supported amount for 4 groups of national contributors, social beneficiaries, poor households and near poor families who are affected by Covid-19 pandemic in line with the Prime Minister’s Resolution No.42.

According to the Decision of Approval issued by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Viet Yen district has 19,669 beneficial cases with total paid mount of over 21.1 billion VND (907,147 USD); Yen The district has 22,702 people with total paid amount of over 20 billion VND (859,855 USD)’ Yen Dung district has 13,918 people receiving total amount of over 16.2 billion VND (696,483 USD).

The locals in Nhu Thiet village, Hong Thai commune (Viet Yen district) receive the supported amount.

In Viet Yen district, the local authority held 130 payment points at the cultural houses in the villages. According to Pham Tuan Minh, Vice Head of the district Division of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (Division), the district received 15 letters from the local social policy beneficiaries to voluntarily refuse the supported amount.

As schedule, the district will pay for the whole amount till the end of May 26. The Division daily arranges staff to randomly check the implementation at the grassroots level so as to ensure the regulation. After completing the payment, the commune and town must announce the list of payment at the cultural houses in the communes and city within 30 days.

The people in Lang Son commune (Yen Dung district) receive the payment.

To facilitate the beneficial cases, Yen The district arranged 38 points of payment while Yen Dung district arranged 82 points under the joint collaboration between the district Division of Labor, Invalid and Social Affairs and the Post Office.

Additionally, the labor sectors have actively coordinated with the relevant agencies and localities to review and instruct the remaining groups to complete the profile. Basing on the result verified at district level, the sector submits to the provincial People’s Committee to approve the decision to support the traders and business household getting impacts by Covid-19 pandemic.
