Many good deeds support impoverished cases
The programme “Happy journey” launched by the provincial Youth Union, Youth Federation, Red Cross Society and APEC Group on May 9 arrived at Lang Giang and Yen The districts.

At the localities, the delegates handed over 197 gift sets to the people in Huong Son commune (Lang Giang district) and 170 presents to poor households in Dong Tien commune (Yen The district), each including 10kg of rice, fish sauce, sugar, egg and cooking oil.
Previously, the units handed over 156 gift sets to the poor in three communes of Thuong Thang, Hung Son and Hoa Son (Hiep Hoa district), 140 gifts to the poor and difficult cases in Lam Cot, Phuc Son and Dai Hoa communes (Tan Yen district). Total value of the gift hit some 140 million VND (6,000 USD) sponsored by the enterprises and kind-hearted people.
At the same day, Son Dong Tam Thien Nguyen Group joined hands with Nutrition Yoga Club in Son Dong district, Women’s Union in An Chau town (Son Dong district) to visit and present essential goods to the poor in the border area Mu Sang, Phong Tho district (Lai Chau province).

In this journey, the delegates passed hundreds of km to present over 1 ton of rice, nearly 200 boxes of instant noodle, 100 pairs of shoes, more than 1,000 sets of old and new clothes to the residents in Sin Chai hamlet, Mu Sang commune as well as teachers and students in Mu Sang Kindergarten School in Phong Tho district.
The meaningful gifts provided timely support to the local in the difficult period as the precious emotion from many businesses and philanthropists in and outside Bac Giang province.
According to Ma A Seo, Head of Sin Chai hamlet, Mu Sang commune, Phong Tho district, 63 out of 98 households live in roof damaged houses. Due to the bad impact of Covid-19 pandemic, most of the labourers lost the jobs, making the hamlet poorer and poorer.
