Chairman of PetroVietnam Tran Sy Thanh extends Tet greeting and presents gifts to poor people in Bac Giang

(BGO) – The member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Central Party Committee’s Economic Commission, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) Tran Sy Thanh who is also former Secretary of Bac Giang provincial Party Committee on January 20 paid a visit to extend Tet greetings to Bac Giang province and present gifts to the poor on the occasion of upcoming Tet holiday 2020.

At the reception, Chairman of PetroVietnam briefed the province on the general feature of the group as well as the prominent results it has achieved recently. Welcoming the traditional Tet holiday, he wished the province a new year with peace, prosperity and more success.

Chairman of PetroVietnam Tran Sy Thanh presents the gift of PetroVietnam to support the poor in Bac Giang province.

Also, the central leader handed over the gift from PetroVietnam worth 500 million VND (21,600 USD) to Bac Giang province to care for the Tet of the poor.

On behalf of the provincial leader, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Van Hai informed the guest about the local socio-economic situation and expressed his thanks for the due attention from Tran Sy Thanh and PetroVietnam to the province.

The timely encouragement and support from PetroVietnam will help Bac Giang province care for the poor to welcome the Spring and traditional Tet holiday.
