Provincial Permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son extends Tet greeting to some FDI enterprises

(BGO) - Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province Lai Thanh Son on 6 January visited and extend Tet greetings to some foreign direct investment (FDI) companies including JA Solar Vietnam Company Limited, Luxshare-ICT Vietnam, Shin Sung Vina, Sameun Electronics Vina in Song Khe-Noi Hoang Industrial Park (Bac Giang city) and Quang Chau Industrial Park (Viet Yen district). 

These are companies with investment capital from HongKong (China) and Republic of Korea manufacturing and processing mobile phone and automobile accessories, electronic components, cell phone cases, covers of other electronic products, cable, connector, computer output device and solar cell.

These companies not only contribute to raising the provincial revenue but also create jobs for a large number of laborers with average income from 7 million VND (303 USD) per month.

At his visits, the provincial Permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son expressed his pleasure at the production and business performances of the companies over the past few years. Besides, he highly appreciated the companies’ attention in ensuring social security policies and the laborers’ quality of life.

After listening to the sharing of the companies about their obstacles in registration for investment expansion and labor recruitment, he stressed the great contribution of FDI enterprises to the province’s growth rate (ranking second nationwide in 2019).

In time to come, Bac Giang province will continue implementing a number of policies to facilitate FDI enterprises investing and operating in the province.

First and foremost, the province will direct the competent agencies to well fulfill administrative procedure reform, support the enterprises to finalise construction permit and environment impact assessment to promptly expand the investment scales and improve efficiency.

Besides, the province will pay attention to enhancing training quality and attracting qualified laborers to meet enterprises’ demands.
