Bac Giang delegation wins 11 gold medals after two days of competition at National Youth Jujitsu Championships
BAC GIANG - After two days of competition (June 3 and 4), the Bac Giang team won 59 medals at the 2024 National Jujitsu Youth Championship, including 11 gold medals.
The 2024 National Jujitsu Youth Championship takes place from June 3 to 9 at the Cao Bang Province Sports and Arts Training - Competition Center. The tournament is organized by the Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Jujitsu Federation.

This year event attracted 300 athletes from 19 provinces and cities who compete for 164 sets of medals in various weight categories of U14, U16 and U18 in show, individual fighting and duo contents.
Bac Giang delegation has 45 athletes competing in 5 contents (Newara Gi, Newara NoGi, Fighting, Duo, Show) in all three age groups. On the last 2 days of competition (June 3 and 4), Bac Giang athletes won 59 medals, including 11 Gold Medals, 12 Silver Medals and 36 Bronze Medals.
In the upcoming days, Bac Giang martial artists continue to compete in Fighting; perform in Duo Classic and Duo Show content in age groups U14, U16; all events in U18 age group and strive to win 10-15 more medals.

BAC GIANG - Vietnamese athletes bagged three gold and two bronze medals at the Hong Kong Athletics Championship which took place from May 4-5 at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, Hong Kong (China). The Bac Giang star runner Nguyen Thi Oanh won two golds in the women's 3,000m steeplechase and 5,000m events.
