Responding to the call of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the organizations, agencies and localities in the province donated nearly 130 tonnes of food and essential products of rice, peanut, noodle, pumpkin, face masks, sanitizers...with total value of over 3.6 billion VND (157,000 USD) in only 10 days after the second call for donation to Southern localities (July 26 to August 5).

The provincial leaders hand over the necessities to support Binh Duong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau provinces.

The PWU received these above products then cooperated with organization and agencies to deliver to Binh Duong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau provinces to share their difficulties in the fight against Covid-19.

The delivery task is done by the volunteer fleet of truck established by the provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Board with 22 members and 6 trucks. As schedule, the fleet of truck will arrive at the reception location of two provinces after two days and nights.

To support the fleet of truck, the Mass Mobilization Board called on 3 businesses to donate more necessities worth over 250 million VND while the PWU presented them with essential products for their jouney to these destinations.

Previously on July 27, Bac Giang province organized a fleet of truck to carry nearly 200 tonnes of necessities to assist people in Ho Chi Minh city and Dong Nai province.

(BGO) – On the July 27 morning, nine truck fleet departed from Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province) to support Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC) and Dong Nai province to fight against Covid-19 pandemic, carrying nearly 200 tonnes of donated foods and essential products as the sentiment of the Party, authority and people in Bac Giang toward beloved Southern localities. As schedule, it will arrive to the destination after two days and two nights.
