In the first three months of 2024, Bac Giang's socio-economy still achieved positive results.

The economic growth rate (GRDP) in the first quarter is estimated to reach 14.15 percent, exceeding the proposed scenario (about 11.79 percent).

Manufacturing industries are growing in which agriculture, forestry and fisheries increase by 1.83 percent; industry - construction by 17.78 percent; services by 6.55 percent; product taxes by 3.4 percent.
Socio-cultural fields continue to develop with maintained education quality. People's lives are stable. Administrative reform, administrative unit arrangement and digital transformation are accelerated. Political security, social order and safety are guaranteed. 

Concluding the conference, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong emphasized many improvement in socio-economic situation in the first quarter of 2024. 
That was to maintain economic growth momentum at a high level. This is a good sign for achieving the province's yearly growth target. 
Besides, Bac Giang has successfully organized many major events.

Regarding agriculture, he suggested to well prevent the disease for plants and animals; specially take care of lychee with promotion orientation in conditions of low flowering rate. 
The provincial leader urged to boost up investment attraction in April and the second quarter, focusing on high quality capital sources as well as grasp and promptly solve problems for businesses.

The PPC Chairman also gave specific instructions on the disbursement rate of public investment capital; completing adjustment of provincial planning; well preparing conditions for the upcoming thematic meeting of the Provincial People's Council.
