Bac Giang focuses on implementing key projects, increasing budget revenue

The economy was on strong recovery, with gross regional domestic product (GRDP) estimated at 17.96 percent, the highest ever so far. Duong noted that at present, the Covid-19 pandemic has basically been controlled, but agencies and localities need to continue to do well communications, disease prevention and control. In particular, the health sector should give advice to the province on prevention measures and vaccination against the Covid-19. The education sector needs to prepare students well for high school and university entrance exams and expand vocational education.
He requested the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the districts of Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, and Tan Yen to coordinate closely to promote lychee consumption.
The participants also gave comments and approved a number of draft documents including a project on increasing state budget revenues in the province to 2025, striving to gradually balance regular budget spending; and a general planning on building Tay Yen Tu township in Yen Dong district to 2035, with scale 1/500.
The Tax Department was asked to work with the provincial Public Security Agency to supplement thematic anti-transfer pricing solutions each year, ensuring effective implementation. The tax authorities must regularly check the revenues as well as review fields and areas that still have room for budget collection but are yet strictly managed, while taking measures to encourage localities with high tax revenues.
Regarding the general planning on building Tay Yen Tu township until 2035, with scale 1/500, the provincial leader requested Son Dong district to study adding a large-scale lake to the planning, thus creating an ecotourism highlight to lure visitors.
