Updated: 14:37, 11/04/2023
(BGO) – Amid upcoming peak harvest season in Vietnam and China, the demands for consuming, shopping and customs clearance are forecast to sharply increase.

Thus, the Trade Encouragement and Commercial Promotion Center in Bac Giang province (Center) informed and suggested import and export business, individual and association to cooperate with the Department of Industry and Trade in Lang Son province to provide remote regulation for import and export commodities via international border gates in this province.

Particularly, the Center warned of vehicles carrying fresh fruits which flock to Huu Nghi and Tan Thanh border gates and cause congestion along the national highway, overloading at yards and difficulties to ensure public order, security and traffic safety at the border gate area.

The importers and exporters were encouraged to actively regulate goods to Huu Nghi international border gate and Tan Thanh border gate in a reasonable manner to avoid incurring additional costs of warehousing, minimizing the risk of damaged goods.

The relevant associations, producers, processing facilities and transport agent were urged to closely watch over the customs clearance at the border gates, the capability of clearing the customs, the number of waiting vehicles for export especially at peak harvest and export seasons of many fresh fruits.

The export ability must be assessed to regulate the goods carriages and make suitable production and export programmes.

The importers and exporters should timely grasp and update changes from Chinese partners so as to regulate the import and export activities actively, thoroughly and effectively.
