Bac Giang is not only a land of culture, it is also a dynamic economic hub. In recent years, the province has effectively exploited its potentials for agricultural development with more than 50 key and signature farm products. Many of them have been protected trademark in some countries including Luc Ngan lychee, Yen The hill-grazed chicken, Chu rice noodle, Ban Ven tea and Van village’s liquor. These are great potentials for trade development in coming time.
Located in the key economic zone in the north, adjacent to the metropolises such as Ha Noi, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh with favorable traffic system including roadways, waterways and railways connected to the economic centers, airport, border gate and international seaport, Bac Giang has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

The province is home to 6 industrial zones covering a total area of nearly 1,500 hectares with integrated technical infrastructure and 40 industrial clusters with total area of 1,300 hectares over 10 districts and city. These are ideal destinations for domestic investors and 400 foreign investors.
In coming time, the province will plan 9 new industrial-urban and service complexes on planned area of nearly 3,500 hectares to drive socio-economic development of the province.
