Bac Giang launches “Ambassador of Reading Culture” contest

(BGO) - In response to the  “Ambassador of Reading Culture” contest 2019 organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the schools in the northern province of Bac Giang launched and popularized the contest rules to the students. 

The contestants will write essays about a book that changes their thinking and life, the effective reading methods and what to do if becoming an ambassador of reading culture.

The schools will collect the submissions and send to the provincial Library before 5 March. The Organizing Board will grant certificates and awards to 2 schools with most contestants, A, B, C and consolation prizes to outstanding individuals of excellent essays. 30 highest-score entries will be sent to the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism to attend the national final round held from 15 to 31 March. The awarding ceremony will be organized in April 2019 in Hanoi.

The contest is aimed at honoring the values and roles of books in society while fostering the development of reading culture in the province.
