Bac Giang LGG Garment Corp invests 6.9 million USD to build new factory

(BGO) - Bac Giang LGG
Garment Corporation has run the garment factory No 5 creating jobs for more
than 1,500 laborers. This factory has been built since 2018 with total
investment capital of 160 billion VND (6.9 million USD) located within the
current area of the company.
The factory is designed in a 3-storey modern building following European style with each floor area of 9,700 square metre. The company invested in advanced machinery and equipment to manufacture high-quality products for European market.

Currently, Bac Giang LGG Garment Corp has 5 factories with some 5,000 employees producing garment products such as jacket, feather coat and waistcoat. The company exports 15 million products each year earning total revenue of 1.2 trillion VND (52 million USD).
Foreign direct investment inflows into Vietnam’s textile and garment industry mounted to 19.5 billion USD over the last three decades with the Republic of Korea (RoK) being the top investor.
A series of expos showcasing technologies, solutions and trends meant to upgrade the entire textile and footwear production chain opened the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) on November 20.
More than 35 leading Vietnamese producers of garments, textiles and fashion accessories as well as garment-related industries are showcasing their goods at Hong Kong’s biggest fashion show that opened on October 27.
Vietnam is one of the world’s largest garment producers, but experts have called on enterprises to brush up their green credentials for the domestic market.
Vietnam’s export turnover of garment-textile and leather shoes during January-July grew 10.5 percent year-on-year to 18.34 billion USD, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) said.
