Bac Giang plans to farm food crops on an area of over 286,000 ha of agricultural land in the whole province by 2025 and nearly 272,000 ha by 2030... According to the plan, the province will increase the proportion of agricultural production under GAP processes and safety standards; focus on developing large-scale commodity agricultural production zones following the "key product group" and "local specialty product group" in order to fully tap the advantages and potential of each region and each locality.
The province will also focus on implementing solutions to develop infrastructure and science – technology, human resources, mechanisms and policies for farmers, localities and businesses; promoting the export of key agricultural products of the province (lychee, processed vegetables, pork, hill chicken...); and building food security information system.
