Speaking at the event, Tuan emphasized that over the past time, in addition to the state-level cooperation between Vietnam and China, the ties between Bac Giang and Guangxi have increasingly developed both in width and depth. Bac Giang province identifies China as a traditional and important market, accounting for a high proportion in its goods import and export turnover.
In 2022, Bac Giang's import-export turnover with China reached more than 18 billion USD. Particularly, each year the province exports 80,000-100,000 tons of lychee.
On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee thanked the relevant agencies of Guangxi province and the authorities of the Zhuang Autonomous Region, Chongzuo city and Pingxiang county for supporting Bac Giang in the sale of agricultural products, including lychee.
In particular, the sale of lychee has become more favorable when the Kep International Railway Station in Bac Giang province connecting with Pingxiang was put into operation, opening a new means of transport to reduce congestion at border gates and clearance time.

Lychee is one of the fruits imported by many local traders from Vietnam and Chongzuo city will create favorable conditions for Bac Giang's lychee to reach more consumers in the coming time.
Phan The Tuan attended a meeting between Lan Xiao, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Chongzuo municipal Party Committee, and leaders of Pingxiang country; and representatives from Bac Giang, Lang Son, Son La, Quang Ninh provinces and the Asia-Africa Market Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
