It helps timely provide the emergency service and treatment to the patients suffering from acute poisoning, septicaemia, kidney failure with periodical hemodialysis and autoimmune diseases (diseases caused by immune system disorder) in order to enhance the poison elimination from the blood.

The chronic kidney patient with regular hemodialysis is treated at the provincial General Hospital.

This is the first difficult technique of high level that is conducted in the province to effectively treat the acute poisoning case (drinking toxic chemical) to help the patient timely eliminate the poison in the golden period ( less than 3 hours) and secure the life.

After one month implementation, the Department has treated 12 cases in which a patient was hospitalised after drinking Paraquat Herbicide and others were chronic kidney patients with regular hemodialysis.

However, the technique is not covered by the health insurance, thus the treatment cost is quite high (from 3 – 7 million VND or 129 – 302 USD per time). The chronic kidney patients with long term periodical hemodialysis is recommended to conduct the technique in every 1 – 1.5 months and one every week for the best result.
