Bac Giang provincial leader sends urgent message to prevent Covid-19

(BGO) – Implementing the PM’s Order No. 541 on April 23, 2021 about reinforcing Covid-10 prevention measures, firmly maintaining the achievement in disease prevention and control, successfully conducting duo task and protecting the people’s health especially in the Reunification Day April 30 and International Labour Day May 1, Chairman of the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province on April 26 issued urgent message on disease prevention and control.

Particularly: Raise the awareness about the risk of Covid-19 infection, reinforce the leaders’ responsibility, implement the preventive measures drastically, synchronously and effectively with the motto “Active prevention, early detection, fast isolation, effective treatment, thorough handle, quick settlement”.

Inspect, review to early detect any case of illegal entry in the province; call for people to actively detect and inform to the authorities about the illegal entries; strictly handle the illegal entries and those relating to this action in line with legal regulation.

Drastically instruct the implementation and inspection of 5K requirement from the Health Ministry, especially compulsory face masks wearing in public places, crowded events, public transport vehicles.

The organizations, businesses, agencies and schools regularly assess and expedite the implementation of preventive measures while updating the result of self assessment on the Covid-19 prevention map system.

Continue restricting the unnecessary activities and events with crowed people; the Steering Committee at the district and level must decide and take responsibility for any event with big gathering which are held with strict implementation of disease preventive measure, especially wearing face masks and disinfection ...as regulation.

The localities and agencies review and complete the plan and programme to be active for any disease circumstance in new normal situation, instruct the measures to ensure safety in events and activities with many participants or facilities with regular big gathering.

Focus on instructing and applying various measures of localizing, tracing, isolating in case of detecting new infected patient so as to prevent the wide infection. The application of quarantine, lock-down and social distance methods must satisfy duo tasks of ensuring safety and minimizing the impact on production, business and people’s life.

Continue applying strict disease preventive measures at the concentrated isolation sites to prevent the cross infection inside these places and to community.

Promptly implement Government’s Resolution No.21/NQ-CP on February 26, 2021 about buying and using Covid-19 vaccine; receiving, distributing and vaccinating suitably to the disease situation to ensure safety at the highest level and prevent the expiry vaccine.

Further boost up tasks of communication and education about health, preventive measures and Covid-19 vaccination.

Bac Giang receives 13,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine in second period
