Bac Giang provincial leaders visit and present gifts to national contributors

(BGO) – On the occasion of 73rd anniversary of Wounded Soldiers’ and Martyrs’ Day July 27 (1947 - 2020), the member of Central Party Committee, Secretary of Bac Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council Bui Van Hai on July 21 visited and presented gifts to two national contributors in Hiep Hoa district.  

The provincial leader handed over two gift packages (each worth 1.5 milion VND or 64 USD) to two Agent Orange victims, namely Le Vuong Thap (born in 1948) in Dong Thanh village, Hoang Thanh commune and Hoang Van Luc (born in 1946) in Ninh Son vilage, Hoang Luong commune.

The provincial Secretary asked after the health and living conditions of the social policy families as well as expressed deep tribute to the great contribution and sacrifice of the national contributors in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

He encouraged two victims to recover the difficulties, continue promoting the heroic tradition as the bright examples for the family in production to build the homeland.

Also, Secretary Hai urged the local authorities and sectors to pay more attention to the tribute task while gradually enhancing the material and spiritual life for the local national contributors.

PPC Chairman Duong Van Thai gifts Dao Thi Teo.

In the afternoon of July 21, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Duong Van Thai visited and gifted two national contributors in Bac Giang city. They are Dao Thi Teo (born in 1930) in Residential Group No.4 and Le Van Quy (born in 1953) in Residential Group No.5, Ngo Quyen ward.

Dao Thi Teo is the wife of martyr Nguyen Van Thom who died in 1954 in the French resistant war. Now she lives with her only son. Meanwhile, Le Van Quy is 71 percent war invalid and 63 percent wounded soldier.

The PPC Chairman delivered 2 gift sets (each worth 1.5 million VND) to these cases and expressed deep gratitude to their families’ great contribution to the country.

He expected that the families would further promote the revolutionary tradition, well follow the Party’s guidance, Government’s laws and policies, build cultural household to jointly contribute to the municipal development.

All levels, sectors and people in the province should raise high the responsibility and morality of “Drink the water, remember its source”, well implement the policy to pay tribute to the national contributors to light up the patriotism tradition toward national construction and defense.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Van Hanh presents gifts to wounded soldier Pham Xuan Binh in Quynh village, Huong Son commune.

In the morning of July 21, Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Van Hanh visited and gifted two revolutionary contributors in Huong Son commune (Lang Giang district), including Hoang Ngoc Quang (born in 1945) in Tien Son village and Pham Xuan Binh (born in 1942) in Quynh village.

He expressed the deep gratitude to the contribution and sacrifice of the war invalid and wounded soldier. On behalf of the provincial leaders, he handed over a gift set to each person (each worth 1.5 million VND) and encouraged them to enjoy healthy, happy life while promoting the patriotism tradition to build prosperous family.

In the afternoon of the same date, PPC Permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son visited and presented gifts to the typical national contributors in Luc Ngan district, including Trinh Thi Lan (born in 1947), wife of martyr Phung Van Khang in Bong No 2 village; wounded soldier Nguyen Van Nhat (born in 1951) in Cam Dinh – Cam Son village (Thanh Hai commune).

On behalf of the provincial leader, he carefully asked after and encouraged them to protect their health and promote the revolutionary tradition of the family and country. Also, the national contributors were motivated to recover the difficulties and pain to enjoy healthy and happy life, become bright model for the younger generation. Each policy beneficiary was presented a gift set worth 1.5 million VND.
