Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee assigned to implement Van Ha Bridge Construction ProjectB
BAC GIANG - The Government Office has just issued Official Dispatch No. 2879/VPCP - CN dated April 5, 2025 conveying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on assigning the competent authority to implement the Van Ha Bridge Construction Investment Project.
Accordingly, the Deputy Prime Minister agreed to assign the People's Committee of Bac Giang province as the competent authority to implement the Van Ha bridge construction investment project, connecting Van Ha commune, Viet Yen township of Bac Giang province with Hoa Long ward, Bac Ninh city of Bac Ninh province.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Bac Giang province to coordinate with the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and take responsibility for allocating funds and organizing the implementation of the Project to ensure efficiency, compliance with legal regulations and to prevent corruption, loss and waste.
* According to the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the Van Ha bridge construction investment project plans to build the bridge and the approach paths at both ends of the bridge as follows: The bridge construction location is determined according to the adjusted Bac Ninh urban master plan and the Bac Ninh city urban zoning plan, connecting from Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater to Van Ha commune; the total length of the bridge is about 360m; the total width of the bridge is 12m.
As schedule, the project will be constructed in 2025 and completed in 2026.
Its completion will create conditions to promote economic, cultural and social exchanges, contributing to disaster prevention and rescue between the two provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh.
BAC GIANG – As schedule, Ha Bac 1 Bridge connecting Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces will be constructed in 2026 and completed in 2028.
France has pledged nearly 20 billion VND (approximately 775,876 USD) in non-refundable aid for a research project on renovating Hanoi’s Long Bien bridge.
BAC GIANG - The People's Council of Bac Giang province has just issued Resolution No. 12/NQ-HDND approving the policy to assign the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province as the competent authority to implement the investment project to build Ha Bac 1 bridge and the connecting road (Project) between Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.
BAC GIANG- The Railway Project Management Board (under the Ministry of Transportation) on February 24 organised a ceremony to start the construction to expand Xuong Giang bridge and the roads to the bridge crossing the Thuong river on Hanoi-Bac Giang expressway in Bac Giang city.
The Hanoi People’s Committee has submitted a proposal to the municipal People’s Council for approval of investment plans and adjustments to several public investment projects, including the Tran Hung Dao, Tu Lien and Ngoc Hoi bridges.

BAC GIANG - According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Traffic and Agricultural Works in Bac Giang Province, after more than 2 years of construction, the bridge section of the Dong Viet Bridge and its paths in Bac Giang City (Bac Giang province) was completed in December 2024. The remaining road is now being accelerated.
