Duong informed that Bac Giang province's policy is to adapt safely and flexibly to the pandemic.
To fight the epidemic in industrial zones, the most important is to inject full three doses of vaccine into workers and experts. Currently, 100 percent of the population aged 12 and over in Bac Giang province have been vaccinated, so the disease is unlikely to break out again. Together with the whole country, the province has determined that Covid-19 is an endemic disease.
Currently, Vietnam has re-opened its economy and tourism, and resumed international flights. Most services have come back. The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee emphasized that the epidemic will no longer have impact as before, so businesses can feel assured to invest in production and recruit more workers.
He gave an overview of the province’s socio-economic development in the first quarter with many outstanding achievements. The local economy grew by 31 percent over the same period in 2021. Bac Giang is expanding industrial parks and quickly improving electricity, transport infrastructure and housing for workers. The province will work to remove difficulties and create the best conditions for enterprises.
On this occasion, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded the "Golden Heart" certificate to Luxshare-ICT Vietnam Co., Ltd for its efforts in fighting Covid-19 in 2022.
