Bac Giang receives more than 1,600 blood units

(BGO) – Responding to the programme of Red Journey 2019, the
Steering Board for voluntary blood donation in the northern province of Bac
Giang on July 15-16 coordinated with Fuhong Precision Component Company Limited
in Dinh Tram Industrial Park to hold the
voluntary blood donation festival.
More than 500 staff and workers registered to the festival. After screening and inspection, the Organization Board received 377 safe blood units and transported to the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion.

Thus, the Steering Board for voluntary blood donation received 1,616 blood units within the the Red Journey 2019, accounting for 108 percent of the set target.

a ceremony to honour collective and individual blood donors in 2019. The annual
event aims to honour and dignify the humane values of blood donation.

Hanoi in celebration of the World Blood Donor Day (June 14).
A ceremony was held in Hanoi on June 6 to honour 100 outstanding blood donors in 2019, in response to World Blood Donor Day (June 14).
A total of 100 outstanding blood donors were honoured at a meeting held in Hanoi on June 4 by the Steering Committee for Voluntarily Blood Donation Mobilisation.
A total of 811 individuals and organisations in Ho Chi Minh City were honoured at a conference on May 31 for donating blood and contributing to the city’s voluntary blood donation movement.
