Bac Giang’s pomelo enjoy high selling prices
BAC GIANG - Although the fruit growing area in Bac Giang province were severely affected by storm No. 3, thanks to proper care, some pomelo gardens in the province have recovered and now can be harvested.
Bang Thi Sau in Phi Le village, Quy Son commune (Luc Ngan) said that this year her family has more than 10,000 pomelos, equivalent to last year and more than 3 tonnes of yellow flesh oranges to be harvested.

Currently, the family has sold 1,600 pomelos shaped like the words "Phuc", "Loc", "Tho" at the garden with the price of 140 – 180,000VND per fruit, higher than last year.
Similar to previous years, most of the family's remaining fruits have been ordered by customers for consumption on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
In the communes of Giap Son, Quy Son, Bien Dong (Luc Ngan), many pomelo purchasing points have begun to bustle.

Up to now, the whole province has harvested more than 2,000 tonnes with selling prices from 30-45,000 VND per kg or 15-20,000 per kg higher than the same period last year.
Pomelo harvest time lasts from October to the end of December.
