Bac Giang supports 14,900 trade unionists severely affected by Covid-19

(BGO) – To assist labours affected by Covid-19 (in businesses with trade union), since early June, the Labour Federation in Bac Giang province has decided to mobilize the trade union fund to support the trade union members and workers who were contracted to the disease or F0 cases (2 million VND per each) and closely contacted to Covid-19 patients or F1 cases (500,000 VND per each).

The statistic from the provincial Labour Federation proved that more than 14,900 members and workers have been aided so far (over 3,700 F0 and F1 cases) with total expense of over 13 billion VND (571,000 USD).

Most of the beneficiaries are in the trade union of the provincial industrial parks, industry and trade sector, educational sector and Labour Federation in Luc Ngan, Tan Yen and Lang Giang districts.

To ensure the rights for trade union members and labours affected by Covid-19 pandemic and partly share their difficulties, the provincial Labour Federation has issued document to direct 17 trade unions to further review and make the list of F0 and F1 cases as the trade unionists who yet to receive any assistance to propose for approval. The paid expense is expected at 7 billion VND.

The Vietnam Social Security (VSS) has confirmed the list of over 795,000 workers from more than 29,300 employers who are eligible for financial support in 62 out of 63 cities and provinces under the Government's Resolution 68/NQ-CP and the Prime Minister's Decision 23/QĐ-TTg on policies supporting employees and employers affected by Covid-19.
Bac Giang: All industrial park workers have negative test result after holiday
(BGO) – According to the Industrial Park Management Board (IPMB) in Bac Giang province, after the National Day Holiday September 2 and 3, labours of 370 businesses in the industrial parks of Dinh Tram, Van Trung, Quang Chau, Song Khe – Noi Hoang, Hoa Phu and Vietnam – Korea have come back work since September 4.
