Bac Giang supports all vaccination expenses for near poor families

(BGO) – The Resolution No.04/2021/NQ-HDND dated on March 29, 2021 of the People’s Council in Bac Giang province which regulates the assistance for purchasing vaccine and organizing vaccination to prevent Covid-19 takes effect from April 9, 2021.

Accordingly, members of near poor families receive state support of 100 percent (including purchasing cost and vaccination organizing charge). Other subjects are not prioritized cases who will not receive free vaccination as specified at Government’s Resolution No.21/NQ-CP dated on February 26, 2021 about purchasing and using Covid-19 vaccine will pay for the buying charge by themselves.

The provincial budget ensures 100 percent of Covid-19 vaccination organizing expenses.

The people in near poor families in the districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Yen The are supported all vaccine cost.

The provincial budget ensures 50 percent, district budget (including district and communal budgets) ensures 50 percent of the cost to buy vaccine for the citizen in near poor families in the districts of Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa, Viet Yen, Yen Dung and Lang Giang. Particularly, the budget in Bac Giang city ensure all the cost.

The free vaccination groups include about 306,300 people as regulated at Resolution No.21 and 43,200 people living in near poor families as provincial regulation. Besides, 950,000 cases at the age of 18 – 65 are excluded in the free list.

According to the Covid-19 vaccination plan in the period of 2021 – 2022 issued by the provincial People’s Committee, Bac Giang province strives to provide Covid-19 vaccine to 95 percent of the whole population.
