Bac Giang supports linkages between production and consumption of farm produce

(BGO)- Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province has sent an official correspondence to request the departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment and people’s committee of the districts and city to concentrate on implementation of the Resolution of the provincial People’s Council on supporting linkages between production and consumption of farm produce in the province.

Particularly, the provincial Chairman urged the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to focus on popularizing the supporting policies on linkages between production and consumption of farm produce in the province. Besides, it was requested to collaborate with related agencies and people’s committee of the districts and city to propose an implementation plan of the Resolution.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was assigned to collaborate with the departments of Finance and Planning and Investment to provide guidance on procedures to apply for participating in the linkage projects or proposals for supporting the linkages. Documents and procedures required for payment from the state budget to support the linkages between production and consumption of farm produce in the province are in accordance with the Resolution of the provincial People’s Council.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee also required the Department of Planning and Investment and Department of Finance to work with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to provide timely recommendations to the provincial People’s Committee to allocate fund for the project implementation and linkage supporting plan as regulated.

People’s committee of the districts and city were urged to inform the supporting policies on linkages between production and consumption of farm produce according to the Resolution to the beneficiaries in the localities to proactively study and set up linkage projects or proposals for supporting the linkages. They were requested to select models and projects in priority order and send the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for making a general plan to submit Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
