Two athletes in Bac Giang team were awarded gold medals.

The tournament was launched by the joint coordination of Vietnam Paralympic Association, Vietnam Sports Administration, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Da Nang city, drawing the participation of nearly 1,300 disabled athletes and coaches of 30 teams from the provinces and cities nationwide.

The athletes vied for medals in 9 sports, including track and field, swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, badminton, chess, boccia, judo and tennis from July 9 – 13.

9 members in Bac Giang team competed in 2 events of table tennis and badminton, bring back a gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Gold winners were Ly Xuan Phu and Do Truong Anh in the sport of table tennis.
