Bac Giang team wins 9 medals at 2024 National Jujitsu Championship
BAC GIANG - On September 16, the 2024 National Jujitsu Championship wrapped up at Bac Giang Provincial Gymnasium with the final matches and closing ceremony. The tournament was jointly organized by the Vietnam Jujitsu Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang from September 10 to 16.
It attracted nearly 300 athletes from 28 sports delegations from provinces, cities and sectors across the country. The competition categories included Newaza Gi, Newaza NoGi, Fighting, Contact, Show (men and women).

After 7 days of exciting competition, the athletes had intense, dramatic and exciting matches. With careful preparation and many outstanding athletes, Thai Nguyen delegation won the first overall prize, followed by Dong Nai province and Thanh Hoa province.
In addition to the overall prize, the Organizing Committee also awarded 51 sets of medals in the competition events to outstanding athletes.

Bac Giang delegation had 30 athletes participating (22 men, 8 women) at the event. Completing the tournament, Bac Giang won 2 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals. Both Gold Medals belonged to martial artist Ha Thi Anh Uyen in the Women’s Fighting and Contact 57 kg category.
BAC GIANG - The 2024 National Excellent Chess Championship was organized by the Vietnam Chess Federation in coordination with the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports in Do Son District (Hai Phong City) from August 9 to 19. The tournament attracted 160 athletes from 19 provinces, cities, industries and clubs nationwide.
BAC GIANG - After 6 days of exciting competition, the 2024 National Individual Badminton Championship cohosted by Vietnam Badminton Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province wrapped up on August 17. The duo of Bac Giang athletes Pham Van Hai - Than Van Anh won the Gold Medal in the mixed doubles event.
BAC GIANG – The 2024 National Youth and Junior Rod Pushing Championship wrapped up on 16 August after 8 days of exciting competition at the Bac Kan Provincial Gymnasium. The event was jointly held by Vietnam Sports Administration and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Kan province. The Bac Giang delegation excellently won the first overall ranking.
BAC GIANG - On August 12, at the Head quarter of Bac Giang Newspaper, Editor-in-Chief Trinh Van Anh, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 41st Bac Giang Newspaper Half Marathon themed “Convergence in the Sacred Land” organized the reception of sponsorship for the race from Hai An Bac Giang Hotel (Hai An Cooperative).
BAC GIANG- At the Head quarter of Bac Giang Newspaper, the Organizing Board of the 41st Bac Giang Newspaper Half Marathon themed “Convergence in the Sacred Land” held a ceremony on August 8 to launch Bib (running numbers), receive sponsor and announce press release on the tournament.
BAC GIANG - The Ministry of Education and Training on August 6 held the closing ceremony of the 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2024 in Hai Phong City.
