Bac Giang to apply e-invoice for tax payers since April 1

(BGO) - Under the direction of the Government and Ministry of Finance on applying electronic invoice (e-invoice) for enterprises, economic organizations, household businesses and individuals in 57centrally-run provinces and cities from April this year, the taxation department of Bac Giang province is paying attention to implementation of this task.

Accordingly, the provincial Taxation Department established the steering committee for implementation of e-invoice and operating and supporting center for deployment of e-invoice at the provincial Taxation Department in March. The Center is functioned to supervise and monitor the e-invoice system to ensure smooth and stable operation while striving to remove difficulties and obstacles during implementation.

According to a representative of the provincial Taxation Department, the province is home to more than 9,000 enterprises and economic organizations, 1,350 household businesses and individuals using e-invoices according to regulations.

In order to facilitate deployment of e-invoice, the provincial Taxation Department announced some regulations on e-invoice to tax payers. Besides, they provided propaganda and guidance on e-invoice for enterprises, economic organizations, household businesses and individuals. The Department also informed 10 software service suppliers to prepare information technology infrastructure meeting requirements for e-invoice supply to tax payers.

To date, more than 5,100 enterprises and economic organizations are using e-invoice in accordance with the Circular No 32/2013 of the Ministry of Finance. Since April, these cases will change to use e-invoice following the Circular No 78/2021 of the Ministry of Finance.
