Bac Giang well prepares for 2023 Culture – Tourism Week

(BGO) – On December 28, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Mai Son cum Head of the Organization Board for the 2023 Culture – Tourism Week chaired the meeting to review the implementation schedule.

The province has issued important documents early as the base for implementation. The tasks have been done urgently by organization, agencies and localities.

The Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism (DoCST) submitted the cripts of two artshows including “Buhha Music night” at Vinh Nghiem pagoda (Yen Dung district), Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival and opening of Bac Giang Culture – Tourism Week in 2023 for approval while joining hands to prepare conditions for procession of woodblock “Cu Tran lac dao phu” from Vinh Nghiem pagoda to Thuong pagoda in Tay Yen Tu Eco-Spiritual Tourism Complex (Son Dong district).

Concluding the event, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son highly spoke of the active preparation from the DoCST to consult the event organization as well as the relevant sectors, agencies and districts.

In the upcoming time, the units should further review the assigned task toward thorough preparation to ensure the set schedule with focus on key activities of artshow “Buddha music night”, procession of woodblock, spring festival and Culture-Tourism Week.

The Department of Industry and Trade was ordered to quickly issue the cooperation plan with the districts to display products under One Commune One Product Programme (OCOP) while the provincial Public Security must prepare programme to ensure the social security and public order during the event.

The Department of Information and Communication, Bac Giang Newspaper, Bac Giang Radio and Television Station were urged to collaborate with central press agencies and other provinces to accelerate the communication on mass media, technology platforms, fanpage and social network to attract visitors near and far.

As schedule, the Spring festival and 2023 Culture – Tourism Week will take place on February 1 – 6, 2023 ( lunar January 11 – 16, 2023).
