Bac Giang win 9 medals at national youth xiangqi championship

(BGO) – The Vietnam Xiangqi Federation has coordinated with
the Department of Culture and Sports in Ho Chi Minh city to organize the national
youth xiangqi, blitz and rapid chess championship 2019.
The event drew more than 300 athletes in 11 delegations from the provinces, cities and sectors competing in 4 categories of rapid, blitz, standard and tradition under the age group of U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U18 and U20 for men and women.

8 players from Bac Giang province joined all categories and won 9 medals of all kinds including 1 gold, 3 silvers and 5 bronzes.
The gold medal was awarded to U11 women’s team of Tran Tra My and Ngo Minh Ngoc.
