Wrestler Ngo Van Quoc receives the gold medal on the awarding stage.

The event attracted 46 top Vietnamese wrestlers including the 1st-grade athletes and masters recognized by the State Administration of Sports via the National Wrestling Championships, 7 of whom came from Bac Giang province.

Bac Giang’s players performed successfully with one gold for wrestler Ngo Van Quoc (55-kilogram category) and one silver for wrestler Duong Van Doanh (50-kilogram event), resulting in the 5th out of 12 positions.

Wrestlers perform at the National Top Wrestlers Tournament in Bac Ninh province.

The tournament was organized by a joint collaboration among the Agency of Public Sports, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Kinh Bac National Wrestling Association under socialization form.

The tournament is the best event of its kind with the top leading athletes nationwide in attendance.
