Belgian beer festival underway in Hai Phong

The Belgian beer festival is underway in the northern port city of Hai Phong from October 25-27, starting a series of Belgian festivals and events in the locality.
Speaking at the event, Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam Paul Jansen said beer is part of the Belgian culture, and the Belgian beer culture has been recognised by the UNESCO as part of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

Visitors will have a chance to enjoy a wide variety of Belgian beer and food.
The festival of this kind has been held successfully in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for years.
On the occasion, the organiser Deep C Industrial Zones presented 200 million VND (8,600 USD) to “For the Poor” fund.
As part of the festival, a logistics development seminar and classical concert were also held.
The 8th Da Lat Flower Festival will take place from December 20 to 24 in Da Lat and Bao Loc cities, the Lam Dong province People’s Committee has announced.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Dien Bien province to open the second Thai National Cultural Festival 2019, in Dien Bien Phu City, on October 18.
The National Food Festival 2019 kicked off in Nha Trang beach city in the south central province of Khanh Hoa on October 18, as part of the National Tourism Year.
The Vietnam International Fashion & Beauty Festival (VIFBF) 2019 will be held in Hanoi from December 11 to 15 with the participation of leading groups in the field.
The International Circus Festival 2019 opened in Hanoi on October 15.
