Bo Da - ancient and sacred pagoda of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhist Zen

- Bo Da, an ancient pagoda in Tien Son commune, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang
province has been praised as one of three most famous pagodas for thousands of
years as the old saying that “The first is Duc La pagoda, second is Bo pagoda
and third is Trang pagoda”.
Bo Da pagoda was called Bo pagoda, Tam Giao pagoda and Tu An Tu. It is located at Phuong Hoang (Phoenix) mountain or Bo Da mountain on the left of Cau river in Thuong Lat village, Tien Son commune.

The pagoda is about 10 km on the West of the center of Bich Dong town (Viet Yen district). It was one of the most unique pagodas in the old land of Kinh Bac and the biggest Buddhism center of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect.
(BGO) - On the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26 (1931-2021), the Youth Union and the Office of Culture and Information of Viet Yen district launched the youth project “Guiding the searching for information about the special national historical relic site of Bo Da Pagoda via QR code”.

Pagoda in Nenh township (Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province) is also called Minh
Linh Tu and Linh Quang Tu. The name of the pagoda is recorded in the annals of
Hoang Mai village written by historian Nguyen Binh in the spring of the first
Hong Phuc year under the reign of King Le Anh Tong (1572).
(BGO) - The Prime Minister has just approved the task of making a plan on preservation and restoration of the special national relic complex of Bo Da Pagoda in Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province) on an area of more than 127 hectares.
The 2020 Keo Pagoda Autumn Festival opened in Duy Nhat Commune, Vu Thu District, Thai Binh Province, on October 26, the tenth day of the ninth month of the lunar calendar.

– As a great ancient pagoda by Y Son mountain, Y Son Pagoda in Hoa Son commune
(Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province) has unique historical, cultural and
architectural values. In particular, the pagoda, once being a revolutionary
base of the Party in the period before the August 1945 Revolution, is now one
of the Safety Zone II – Hiep Hoa relic sites.
