Business forum connects Thai and Vietnamese enterprises
The forum is part of a series of events jointly held by the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association and the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association to mark the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership.

According to Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce Sanan Angubolkul, the focus of the forum is to promote young entrepreneurs and startup companies as strong drivers of growth in both countries.
He said Thai and Vietnamese businesses are willing to increase cooperation to help realise the bilateral trade target of 25 billion by 2025.
For his part, Chairman of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association Nguyen Van Thanh stated that the forum is a place for both countries’ enterprises to meet and connect towards the shared goal of rapid and sustainable development, and enhancing their competitiveness in the context of globalisation and international integration.
Speaking at the forum, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Phan Chi Thanh underlined that economic cooperation is a bright spot in the bilateral relationship.
According to data of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association, bilateral trade between Vietnam and Thailand has seen continuously growth in recent year, reaching 21.5 billion USD in 2022.
Thailand is the ninth largest foreign investor in Vietnam and the second largest in ASEAN, with 13.1 billion USD in 677 projects.
