Capital mobilization of commercial banks up 14.5 trillion VND

BAC GIANG - According to the Bac Giang provincial branch of State Bank, to date, the total mobilized capital of commercial banks has reached nearly 100 trillion VND (4.2 billion USD) up about 14.5 trillion VND compared to last year.

Some banks have high mobilized capital such as: Bac Giang provincial branch and Bac Giang branch 2 of Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam Bac Giang Branch, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam Bac Giang Branch...

This result was achieved thanks to effort from commercial banks to develop capital mobilization plans, assign specialized departments and units to approach both organization and individual customers… since early this year.

Some banks balanced resources and increased capital mobilization interest rates according to regulations at certain times to encourage customers to deposit money.

From the mobilized capital, commercial banks have so far disbursed 86.6 trillion VND to individuals and businesses as loans for promoting production and business activities.
