Center promotes digital transformation to connect labor supply and demand
On November 16, a job fair took place in both face-to-face and online forms at the center. In addition to local businesses, the event also attracted nearly 140 enterprises from eight northern mountainous provinces.

The units are in need of more than 15,300 workers, mainly the fields of electronic component production, garment and fashion design, and engineering with monthly income ranging from 7 to 15 million VND (287-621 USD) per person.
According to a representative of Vina Han Joint Stock Company based in Song Mai commune, Bac Giang city, to prepare for year-end production activities, the company needs 550 more workers. Due to a short time and large number, it contacted the provincial Employment Service Center to seek workers both inside and outside the province.
Previously, the center had posted recruitment information on mass media and social networks, so many workers knew the job fair. Just in the morning, more than 470 people took part in the event, of whom 170 went to the center to find out information, engage in interviews, and apply for suitable positions. More than 300 people were interviewed online. According to initial statistics, nearly 200 workers who had passed the qualifying round were recruited by businesses or eligible for direct interviews.
This was one of many job fairs organized by the provincial Employment Service Center to offer counseling and job opportunities to workers. The center organizes a regular session every Thursday and 1-3 online sessions per month, depending on the actual needs of businesses inside and outside the province.

The center has played the role as a bridge between businesses and workers by organizing periodic, thematic, online and mobile job fairs to provide job information and opportunities to workers.
In recent years, it has actively implemented digital transformation in many activities such as organizing job exchanges and interviewing workers for working abroad online; initially digitizing archival records; upgrading its website on iOS and Android platforms; putting into operation the Zalo OA switchboard with software to automatically answer and send messages to workers and businesses; optimizing the advantages of social networks in job consultancy and introduction, helping workers and businesses access and find information quickly and easily.
