The Charity Fund was set up following Decision 2502/QD-UBND issued by the provincial People's Committee and its charter was recognized on December 18, 2020. It aims to help deal with incidents caused by natural disasters, fires, epidemics and accidents, as well as support disadvantaged people. After announcing the fund establishment decision and launching the Fund Management Council, the leaders of the Fund encouraged businesses and philanthropists to join hands to support the Fund and actively participate in the "Tet for the poor" campaign launched by the Standing Board of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee. Chairman of the provincial Business Association Bui Van Hanh, Director of the Fund, stated that the establishment of the Fund helps businesses, organizations and individuals to have more opportunities to implement social security policies. Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan The Tuan appreciated the initiative to set up and launch the Charity Fund and the "Tet for the poor" campaign, considering this a meaningful activity that gives timely support for those in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the determination of enterprises to join hands in successfully implementing the province's socio-economic development goals.
