Chinese in Bac Giang to be vaccinated against Covid-19

(BGO) – According to the Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in Bac Giang province, Chinese citizen living and working at the province will be vaccinated against Covid-19 with China donated Vero Cell Vaccine on July 15- 16.

2 million doses of Moderna vaccine donated by US arrive in Vietnam

Bac Giang province was allocated 5,800 doses on July 13 which are preserved in line with technical qualification at the provincial Center of Disease Control’s storage (CDC).

Covid-19 vaccine doses are handed over at the storage of the provincial Center of Disease Control.

CDC will organize 4 mobile vaccination points at Vina Solar Company Limited, Luxshare ICT Vietnam Co.,Ltd (Van Trung Industrial Park, Viet Yen district), JA Solar Vietnam Co.,Ltd, Luxshare ICT Vietnam Co.,Ltd (Quang Chau Industrial Park, Viet Yen district).

Each point is equipped with 3 – 4 vaccination tables working under one way principle together with interpreter and staff to instruct, screen, inject, provide first aid, medical materials and drugs so as to ensure safety, effectiveness and strictly follow disease preventive measures.

Regarding this vaccine, each case will receive 2 shots, the second will be repeated 21 – 28 days after the first.

According to the list supplied by China Embassy in Vietnam, 2,601 Chinese citizens are now living and working in the province.
