Chinese youth present Vietnam with nearly 17,000 “welfare bags”

Chinese youth offered a donation of 16,845 “welfare bags”, worth 1.2 million yuan (equivalent to over VND4.2 billion), to the Vietnamese people, in support of the nation’s anti-pandemic efforts.

A virtual ceremony was held on November 5 to sign an agreement related to the above support.

In response to call for support to the “one million welfare bags” programme by Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Vietnam and First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee, the first secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC), He Junke, sent a letter on the gift from the young Chinese people.

Affirming the gift as a valuable and prompt support amidst the complicated development of the pandemic, the Vietnamese side pledged that the above funds will be used for the right purposes, helping Vietnamese young people overcome immediate difficulties, soon stabilising their lives and adapting to the new normal.

The HCYU Central Committee wishes to continue working with the Central Committee of the CYLC to make great contributions to the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries, for the peace, stability and prosperity of each nation, the region and the world.

(BGO) – Implementing Government’s Resolution No.116/NQ-CP about supporting employees and employers affected by Covid-19 pandemic from Unemployment insurance fund (UIF), as of October 21, the Social Insurance in Bac Giang province paid for over 41,000 labours with total amount of 94.4 billion VND (4.1 million USD) (six rates ranging from 1.8 to 3.3 million VND per person).
Bac Giang adjusts screening test for labours in industrial production businesses
(BGO) – Basing on local Covid-19 situation in Bac Giang province, the Steering Committee for assisting business in production development and disease prevention on October 16 issued document to adjust the SARS-CoV-2 screening test by RT-PCR for labours at industrial production companies in the province.
