Over 41,000 labours aided from Unemployment insurance fund

(BGO) – Implementing
Government’s Resolution No.116/NQ-CP about supporting employees and employers
affected by Covid-19 pandemic from Unemployment insurance fund (UIF), as of
October 21, the Social Insurance in Bac Giang province paid for over 41,000
labours with total amount of 94.4 billion VND (4.1 million USD) (six rates
ranging from 1.8 to 3.3 million VND per person).
The beneficial cases included labours under unemployment insurance coverage at September 30, 2021; labours who used to participate in unemployment insurance and had labour contract terminated from January 1, 2020 till September 30, 2021 with reserved paying period for unemployment insurance.

The Resolution excludes the cases who are paid monthly pension or work at state organizations, political and socio-political organizations, military units, public agencies with regular payment from government.
According to the provincial Social Insurance, the province now has more than 200,000 beneficial labours.

Over 3,000 labours employed at job transaction sessions

of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) in Bac Giang province showed
that the province decided to support nearly 422,800 labours, business
households and enterprises as of September 13 with total approved amount of
about 506 billion VND (22.2 million USD).

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has signed a resolution on the provision of support to labourers and employers affected by Covid-19 using the unemployment insurance fund.
