(BGO) - For the
first half of this year, the commercial banks in the northern province of Bac
Giang have mobilized capital of over 80.5 trillion VND (3.49 billion USD), up
nearly 5 trillion VND comparing to the figure at December 31, 2021 including
4,740 billion VND from resident deposit.
From the mobilized capital, the banks have disbursed nearly 78 trillion VND as the loan for clients, up more than 6,800 billion VND against late period last year.

According to leader of the provincial State Bank, the loan capital was mostly offered to production and business field in line with orientation from Vietnam State Bank and provincial People’s Committee to recover the economy in post Covid-19 period.
Also, the banks have focused on smoothly disbursing the capital for enterprises and people as the loan for lychee consuming and processing. To date, the commercial banks have registered the capital of 1,200 billion VND as the loan for lychee consuming and processing activities.

Over 107,000 customers offered policy credit loans with reduced interest
(BGO) - On November 26, 2021, the
Prime Minister issued Decision No.1990/QD-TTg about reducing loan interest for
policy credit programme at the Social Policy Bank (SPB) with validity from
October 1 till the end of December 31, 2021. Accordingly, SPB reduces 10
percent of the interest comparing to the loan interest for policy credit
programmes regulated by the Prime Minister.
WB loan to support Vietnam’s economic recovery
The Vietnamese Government and the World Bank have signed an agreement for financing of 221.5 million USD to support Vietnam’s post-pandemic recovery through policy reforms aimed at improving financial inclusion and spurring greater environmental resilience.
Loans offered to 68 business owners to pay for salary in production recovery and severance
(BGO) - The Bac Giang branch of Social Policy Bank
has disbursed over 4.8 billion VND (210,986 USD) as the loan for four
businesses to pay for salary in production recovery and severance to 1,049
labours in line with the Government’s Resolution No.68 on July 1, 2021 and PM’s
Decision No.23 on July 7, 2021 about implementation of policies to support
employers and employees affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
