Da Mai dried vermicelli wins first prize at Women’s Startup Idea Contest

The contest was launched in February by the PWU, attracting 33 ideas from many individuals and organizations, 10 of which were evaluated the most excellent and selected to the final.
At the event, each author or group of authors had 10 minutes to present, protect the idea while clarifying the execution method, actual feasibility and answering the question from the jury board.

Besides, the dried vermicelli project of Da Mai ward’s women was highly marked which applied the hi-tech method and solar energy to dry the products so as to save the fuel and ensure the vermicelli quality. Currently, Da Mai dried vermicelli is available in the markets with the vacuum packages of 200gram, 500 gram

Concluding the event, the Organization Board awarded the first prize to the idea of producing dried vermicelli from the group of author Nguyen Thi Tuyen and Da Mai ward’s women; second prize to 2 projects of “unsoiled melon growing in net house” of Dang Thi Kim Loan in Doan Bai commune and Vinh orange cultivation model under VietGAP standard of Nguyen Thi Hoe in Hong Giang commune (Luc Ngan district).
Additionally, the third prize and consolidation prizes were presented to the individuals and groups of authors with good ideas.
