Daily Covid-19 cases rise by 129

Vietnam reported 76 more local Covid-19 cases Sunday evening, raising the number of patients recorded in the day to 129, the Ministry of Health announced.
Of the new cases, 57 cases are recorded in Bac Giang and 19 are in Bac Ninh.
All the patients in Bac Giang were associated with the province's Quang Chau, Van Trung and Song Khe-Noi Hoang industrial parks.

18 cases in Bac Ninh have made contact with confirmed coronavirus cases, while one case was detected through Covid-19 screening.
Since the new wave of Covid-19 emerged in Vietnam on April 27, the nation has recorded 2,165 cases in 30 cities and provinces. Over a million people have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

3.2 million USD donated to Bac Giang province for Covid-19 fight
(BGO) – On May 19, Lieutenant
General Duong Dinh Thong, Political Commissar of Military Zone 1
handed over 500 million VND (21,600 USD) to Bac Giang province for local task
of Covid-19 prevention and control. Secretary of the provincial Party Committee
(PPC) Duong Van Thai and leader of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC)
received the donation.
