Delegation from the Trade Union of RoK’s Incheon city visits Bac Giang
At the working session, Chairman of the provincial Labour Federation Nguyen Van Canh briefed his guests on the socio-economic situation of Bac Giang province.

He stressed that since 2016, the province has attracted more than 500 projects, bringing its total number of projects to over 1,400, including 350 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects. In particular, 168 Korean enterprises have invested in Bac Giang, creating jobs for about 54,600 workers.
Informing the delegation about the organizational structure and operation of the provincial Labour Federation, Nguyen Van Canh affirmed that over the past years, the all-level trade unions in the province have promoted the role as a representative and protector of workers’ legitimate rights and interests, and taken care of the lives of trade union members. They have launched emulation movements for laborers to affirm their capability and creativeness, step by step raising the position of the working class.

On behalf of the provincial Labour Federation, Canh spoke highly of the working visit of the Incheon Trade Union delegation to Bac Giang. He said he hopes that after the meeting, new opportunities will be created to boost exchanges and sharing of experience in trade union activities as the RoK is a developed country with advanced labor relations.
