At the event, Associate Professor - Doctor - Supreme Doctor Nguyen Van Chi, Vice Head of Emergency Department in Bach Mai Hospital led the delegation of Associate Professor - Doctor - Doctor Tran Cong Hoa, Vice President and General Secretary of Vietnamese Association of Otorhinolaryngology, more than 100 doctors and nurses at several hospital in Hanoi, Bac Giang provincial General Hospital and the local Board for Protection and Nursing of Officers' Health to examine, consult on health condition and provide free medicines to 500 policy beneficiaries and elder persons living in difficult circumstances in Thanh Van commune.

The doctor conducted Clinical and Paraclinical examinations such as physical strength checkup, electrocardiogram, eyes examination, otorhinolaryngology, abdominal ultrasound, general internal checkups as well as supplied free medicine totally worth nearly 70 million VND (about 3,000 USD).

Doctors provide free medicine to the policy beneficiaries.

The humanitarian health examination of the "Doctors and friends" club is a charitable activity to highlight the traditional ethic of "When drinking water, remember its source" in the International Day for the Elder Persons.
