Electronic tax system applied in Bac Giang

(BGO) – The electronic tax system (eTax), which is a concentrated one-stop shop managed by the State Administration of Taxation (SAT under the Ministry of Finance), is officially applied in the northern province of Bac Giang from May 7, 2018.

It consists of online tax declaration and sending of tax declaration sheet, helping the enterprises and individuals easily carry out all steps in the procedures of tax declaration, payment and refund as well as search for tax profiles and obligations.

When using the system, the user will be provided with an account to log into the system to handle all services and tax profiles without changing the website address or doing the log-in again.

The SAT has decided to continue implementing the eTax system in 13 provinces including Bac Giang province after piloting the system in Phu Tho and Bac Ninh provinces.

To date, the provincial Taxation Department has switched the data, upgraded the information technology infrastructure while training the staff and officials relating to the service operation.
