Enterprises at industrial parks create jobs to nearly 132,000 labourers

(BGO) – According to the Management Board of the provincial industrial parks (IPs), Bac Giang province has 5 IPs with 307 operating businesses, including Van Trung, Dinh Tram, Quang Chau, Song Khe – Noi Hoang and Hoa Phu. 

The enterprises create the jobs to nearly 132,000 labourers, up some 28,000 ones comparing to the same period last year in which local workers account for 61 percent and the remaining ones are from foreign countries and other provinces.

Basically, the labourers working in the companies at the IPs are covered by the social insurance with average income of 7.5 million VND (325 USD) per person per month.

To create more jobs to workers, many businesses have expanded the factory scale, actively searched for market, erected more equipment and machinery for production and trade.

Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 disease, some garment enterprises received additional orders of face mask production to create new jobs and try to recover the difficulties caused by the global pandemic.
