Enterprises speed up production for export in last months of the year
Many promising items
On this occasion, all export enterprises in the province are accelerating production and fulfilling orders. According to Tran Thi Minh Phuong, head of the Labor Relations Department of the Crystal Martin Vietnam Co., Ltd., in the garment industry, the year-end is the peak time for exports.

Since early June, the company has focused on production to meet orders to export goods to European countries and Japan under contracts signed from the beginning of the year.
The company launched creative labor emulation movements, increased bonuses for workers with excellent performance, and invested in procurement of large-capacity automatic cutting equipment. By this time, the company has exported nearly 60 million products. By boosting production to increase revenue, the income of workers has been raised to hit about 8 million VND (344 USD) per month on average.
Nguyen Xuan Viet, Chairman and CEO of the Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Bac Giang city), said from now till the end of the year, the company will focus on processing agricultural products such as packaged cucumber, sweet corn and fruit drinks for export to Germany, Japan and the US... It strives to export more than 4,000 tonnes of products, an increase of over 5 percent compared to 2018.
Businesses producing electronic components (mainly foreign-invested enterprises) are also working at full capacity to deliver goods to their partners on time. Many businesses boast high export turnover such as the Daeyang BG Co., Ltd., the Hosiden Vietnam Co., Ltd., the Fuhong Co., Ltd., and the Dae Sung Tech Co., Ltd.
The province's export revenue so far this year is estimated at 6.15 billion USD, up by 19.3 percent as compared to the same period in 2018. Leading in export turnover are garment, agricultural product processing and solar battery production.
Facilitating exports
Tran Quang Tan, Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, said: “Right from the beginning of the year, the province has determined that exports contribute greatly to the local budget and create jobs for tens of thousands of workers. Agencies, sectors and businesses in the province are exerting every effort to fulfill the export value target of 8.4 billion USD in 2019, up 7.7 percent over 2018”.

With this spirit, many agricultural product exporters have actively discussed with their partners to adjust prices in line with the market; focused on expanding material areas inside and outside the province; and invested in machinery and workshop expansion.
In order to create favorable conditions for enterprises in the province, especially for export units, the provincial People's Committee has directed relevant agencies and units to reform administrative procedures and improve the investment environment. The provincial People's Committee has allocated funds and instructed the Department of Industry and Trade to inform and support export enterprises in participating in domestic and international fairs to find markets and promote products.
It will focus on supporting the construction and upgrading of businesses’ websites and promoting e-commerce business. Since the beginning of the year, the Department of Industry and Trade has assisted 20 exporters in building websites to do business on e-commerce trading floors.
The Department of Industry and Trade focuses on directing and operating flexibly, creating positive and comprehensive changes in the fields of its management. In particular, it has done well the work of market forecasting while continuing to implement drastic measures, increase support for businesses and promote growth. It has promptly proposed solutions to remove difficulties for businesses and support them to achieve stable production.
The customs sub-department in charge of the Bac Giang Industrial Zones handles all the documents via the cross-border one-stop-shop system and increases the staff on duty overtime to help enterprises import and export goods on time.
