To help businesses utilize the service, the provincial Tax Department has stepped up training and communication work, while establishing groups that have regularly inspected and promptly addressed bottlenecks to the implementation of the service by providing consultations for taxpayers directly or via phone. By this way, the service has been applied synchronously among businesses, receiving good comments on its convenience. It has been seen as an important spotlight in administrative reform.
Pham Van Hung, Deputy Director of Thong Nhat Service and Trade JSC in Yen My commune, Lang Giang district, said his company now can declare and pay taxes via a system without having to visit different websites as it did in the past, thus saving much time. Specifically, the company can regularly check and search for tax payments and arrears in order to fulfill its financial obligations on schedule, not repeating overdue payments as in the past since the eTax service is connected online with the district’s tax management system.

In May alone, 2,000 firms in the province registered to pay taxes monthly, using this service, with nearly 5,000 dossiers. More than 580 billion VND (25.52 million USD) in taxes has been paid through the system, reaching the set target. The remaining firms have registered to pay taxes quarterly at the end of this June.
